“很多人在夸中国，却很少有人真正去解释中国。”来自特立尼达和多巴哥的莎拉，曾代表该国入围2014年世界小姐大赛四分之一决赛，如今她已投身中拉合作，在中国铁建（加勒比）有限公司工作了3年。
中国-拉共体论坛正式运行十年来取得丰硕成果，无数中拉青年投身中拉合作之中。在中国-拉共体论坛第四届部长级会议期间，莎拉应邀重返中国，来到北京参访。她从北京前门大街出发，沉浸式体验非遗技艺、中华美食与传统文化，近距离感受中国发展与中华文化的独特魅力。
